Kevin, one stat thats not listed is how many time did Patty cause the other team to take a penalty and did it result in a goal from our team? To me this is an important stat. If he can aggitate and draw penalties I think he we do have room on this team.

15 whole minutes without Garth posting.... OMG!

His value transcends the stats sheet. Even if he doesn't physically impact the game the way he used to, he bothers the other team enough to warrent special attention and he draws penalties. Perfect 4th line player, minimal cap impact, nothing more.

that might paint a nice picture... i wonder if how many SHG were given up on a penalty he drew.. for all i know that could be the same number as the goals we scored..

Imagine if he learned how to hip check instead of just launching himself into other players, or into the boards when he misses (about as often as he connects).

Goal of team should be tank to get top pick, its the only way darcy himself said he can be like hawks and pens to win cup. How he let his team only draft 8th was a waste. Trade all vets and let kaleta play and score 3 goals in 82 games.

This guy is watching same game I am. Put Kaleta on ice and the puck is suddenly stuck in the Sabres D zone. He's got his moments and def the heart, but overall no thanks.

We've all known for awhile that past draft was gonna be special. Anyone know how next year's looks?

Too bad he does that to the boards/glass more than to flesh....

The fact Kaleta is even on this team shows how bad we are. A good team would barely have him touch the ice if at all.

And even though he would probably take his helmet off and dive head first to stop a puck - which is admirable - there are better ways to kill a penalty.
